From Bath Bombs to Dirty Little Suds: How It All Went Down
It all started with a bath bomb.
Well… a bath bomb and an expensive daughter with a Lush addiction. Her bill was higher than my light bill, and let’s be honest — I love a good bath bomb too, but I always felt guilty dropping that kind of cash on fizzy tub water.
One day I thought, “Seriously, how hard can it be to make my own bath bomb?”
Girllll… the audacity.
Turns out, it was harder than trying to fold a fitted sheet in the dark. I wrestled with recipes for months, tried every “foolproof” free recipe online (spoiler: they lied), and pumped out more bath bomb disasters than I even wanna admit. But eventually… it clicked. I made my first perfect bath bomb...and I was HOOKED.
What started as a “cute little hobby” completely exploded overnight — and Blue Suede Bath Co. was born. (Yes, it was Elvis inspired).
I sold wholesale all across the country and it was going great, except… one little problem: nobody outside of Tupelo understood the name. People in California weren’t exactly connecting “Elvis” with bath products...which brings us to the rebrand: Dirty Little Suds.
This new era has been bold, funny, expensive (small biz life, am I right?), and honestly the most fun I’ve ever had. Dirty Little Suds is daring, a little scandalous, and 100% me. I can’t wait to see where this ride takes us...and I’m dragging y’all along for the bubbles.
So yeah… from bath bombs to branding chaos, here we are. Buckle up, buttercup... welcome to the madness.
